Description Barbat
Barbat is a village that is found in the Island of Rab, in the south-western part, near the Channel of Barbat. It’s famous for the many gravelly beach that finds along all the coast of the island. Close to the Island of Rab, in parallel with Barbat we can find the small island of Dolin, creating a channel that call every year a lot of nautical and windsurf passionate.
Here the tourism is a lot very developed, in fact we can find receptive structures like apartments and residence. But the inhabitants have not forget their ancient origins: here in fact given over persons to the cultivation of the earth, the breeding of the sheep can themselves be still found, to agriculture, bee-keeping and to the wineyards.
Many products of these activities moreover can be tasted in the dishes proposals from several present restaurants in the city, beyond that in the tables of the private houses that often transform in houses for vacations and that rent some rooms.
